    More examples of SwiftDecoder

    Hey everyone;

    This is my first time trying to use the SwiftDecoder, and I'm running into some problems that are mostly due to a quickly approaching deadline.  It took me the time to test 8 SDKs before finding this one, and it gave me the best results by far, so I made the decision to use it regardless of the hurdles I knew I would encounter when trying to integrate it into my project.

    I was wondering if there were some more examples available for using the SDK in a VB.NET or C# environment.

    Ideally, I'm looking for a command line interface to this DLL.  Alternatively, if I could get it as a COM object instead of the non-COM DLL that is part of the package, that would be good too.

    Thanks a lot.

    Re: More examples of SwiftDecoder

    James,

    There are simple C# and VB.NET examples provided with the SDK.  What could be included in the examples that would be helpful?

    The way the example programs work, expecting a script that provides the location of images and property settings, should be fairly simple to modify to allow the program to be called from the command line.  For example, you could modify the program to read settings from the Windows registry, a XML configuration file, etc. and call the executable passing a filename via the command line.

    We do not provide SwiftDecoder as a COM object, but you could write a wrapper around the SwiftDecoder library to provide a COM interface.

    Ben
