Test and Validation of Postal Codes

I have a question concerning the validation and the methodology used by Omniplanar to validate the postal codes.
I would like to be sure that the integration of the decoder is correct and then run validation test plans which can cover a lot of different cases (even error cases).

Do you use some samples that you made? With which software? (to do use the same software for a cross validation)
Or did you receive samples from customers? others?

    Thanks and regards,

Re: Test and Validation of Postal Codes

Are you referring to decoding or verifying postal bar codes?  Our postal verification follows the MERLIN specification to grade POSTNET and PLANET bar codes.  As far as samples, we have created codes to test using several different printing programs as well as numerous actual mail samples that we received as ordinary mail and from customers.
