We have not seen instances where the call to SD_Create takes such a long period of time. It is interesting that the timing is in approximately 15 second intervals. What else is going on in the system when you call SD_Create? Are there other hardware keys from Aladdin or other manufacturers involved?...

Sluggish SD_Create() response

In the system I'm working with, an SD_Create() call usually returns quickly (typically 800 msec).
